Background
During his academic training Dr. Burak Ersoy had the fortunate opportunity to work at some of the best institutions in the USA (Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, University of California Irvine Medical Center), Canada (Mineral Springs Hospital, Banff) UK (St Thomas’ hospital, London), Germany (RWTH University Hospital, Aachen) and France (Hôpital Saint-Louis, Paris). The focus of his scientific work during his training was aesthetic and reconstructive breast surgery, liposuction, body sculpturing and contouring as well as the aesthetic surgery of the face.
Being a prolific academician, he has internationally authored more than 40 publications and lectures, in addition to over 120 presentations held at national and international scientific meetings. His strong work ethic, coupled with his meticulous attention to detail and profound knowledge in plastic surgery allowed him to receive several awards and distinguished international scholarships for his professional work. Along with his superior command of plastic reconstructive and aesthetic surgery he also has exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
